The Saffron Book

Christians

CHRISTIANITY CAME TO INDIA OVER 1900 YEARS AGO AND ITS FOLLOWERS HAVE BEEN LIKE ANY OTHER INDIANS EXCEPT THAT THEY PRAY IN CHURCHES. THEIR MISSIONARIES HAVE DONE A GREAT DEAL TO TEACH THE YOUNG, CURE THE SICK AND CARE FOR THE OLD. ALL IN ALL, THE CHRISTIANS PLAY A LAUDABLE ROLE IN THE MULE OF INDIA, EXCEPT FOR THE PROSELYISERS WHO MAKE IT THEIR MISSION TO LURE THE POOR AND THE NEEDY AWAY FROM THEIR TRADITIONAL FAITH AND CHANGE THEIR RELIGION. IN THE PROCESS, THEY COMMIT SOCIAL AGGRESSION.
