The Saffron Book

Hindu Paradoxes

SEEN THROUGH WESTERN EYES, THE HINDU ETHOS APPEARS PARDOXICAL. IT IS NOT REALISED THAT THE IDOL IS ONLYA FOCUS LED NOT THE OBJECT OF WORSHIP. ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THAT BURMA OR DEED IS THE CAUSE OF HIS BHAGYA OR DESTINY, CANNOT BE A FATALIST. THE HINDU HATES AURANGZEB. I HAVE COME ACROSS NO MUSLIM WITH THIS NAME. YET A STREET NAMED AFTER HIM IN THE CAPITAL OF INDIA IS TOLERATED.DOES ANY CIVILISATION OTHER THAN THE HINDU ACCOMMODATE A FIFTH COLUMN AS VICIOUS AS ITS ANTI-HINDU HINDUS?
